What You Need
To deposit XLM, you need:
- An external XLM wallet with available balance (Lobstr, Xaman, exchange account, etc.)
- Your XamanProtocol XLM deposit address (found in Dashboard → Deposit)
- Your unique Memo — required for attribution
Step-by-Step: Depositing XLM
- Go to Dashboard → Deposit and select XLM.
- Copy your Deposit Address and Memo.
- Open your sending wallet.
- Send XLM to the copied address.
- Critical: Add your Memo in the memo field of the transaction. Select Memo Type: Text and enter the memo exactly.
- Confirm and submit the transaction.
- Your deposit appears as Pending in XamanProtocol within minutes.
What Is a Stellar Memo?
Stellar transactions support an optional memo field. When multiple users share one platform address, the memo identifies which user the payment belongs to. XamanProtocol assigns you a unique memo — always include it when sending XLM.
Stellar supports several memo types. Use Memo Text for XamanProtocol memos unless instructed otherwise.
Stellar Network Confirmations
Stellar settles transactions within 5 seconds. Like XRP, there is no waiting period for multiple confirmations. Once confirmed, the transaction is final. Admin review for credit to your account typically takes 1–6 hours.
Stellar Minimum Balance
Stellar accounts must maintain a minimum balance of 1 XLM (base reserve) to remain active. This is a network requirement, not a XamanProtocol charge. Sending your entire balance may fail if it would drop below the reserve.
