QR Code Won't Scan
If your Xaman app can't scan the QR code:
- Ensure your phone camera is working and focused.
- Increase screen brightness on the device showing the QR.
- Try moving closer or further from the screen.
- Make sure the QR code is not partially cut off by your browser window.
- Try using the 'Open in Xaman' deep link button instead (mobile only).
QR Code Expired
Xaman QR codes expire after 5 minutes for security. If the code expires:
- Click Try Again in the XamanProtocol modal.
- A new QR code will be generated.
- Scan the new code promptly.
Xaman App Not Opening
- Ensure Xaman is installed and updated to the latest version.
- On mobile, ensure deep links are enabled for the Xaman app in your device settings.
- Try closing and reopening the Xaman app.
- If using an older version, update via App Store or Google Play.
Connection Succeeds but Balance Shows Wrong
If your Xaman wallet connects but shows an incorrect balance:
- The balance is fetched from the XRP Ledger in real time. Wait a moment and refresh.
- Ensure you're looking at the correct XRPL address.
- XRPL account reserve (1 XRP + 0.2 XRP per trust line) is deducted from your spendable balance — this is normal.
