Connecting Your Wallet

How to connect your Xaman or Stellar wallet to XamanProtocol and what the connection enables.

Why Connect a Wallet?

Connecting your self-custody wallet (Xaman for XRPL, or a Stellar wallet) enables:

  • Staking directly from your personal wallet without a separate deposit step
  • Viewing your on-chain balance within the XamanProtocol interface
  • A faster, more integrated experience for frequent stakers

Connecting Xaman (XRPL)

  1. Go to Dashboard → Staking and click the Xaman button.
  2. A QR code appears.
  3. Open Xaman on your phone and tap the QR scanner icon.
  4. Scan the QR code.
  5. Xaman shows a Sign-In request — tap Approve.
  6. Your XRPL address and XRP balance appear in the XamanProtocol modal. Connection complete.

Session Duration

Wallet connections are session-based — they last only for the current flow (connection + staking action). XamanProtocol does not store long-term access to your wallet. You will need to reconnect each time you use the Xaman staking feature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is wallet connection the same as giving XamanProtocol control over my wallet?+
No. Connection proves wallet ownership via a signature. XamanProtocol can only initiate transaction requests that you must individually approve in Xaman. It cannot move your funds without your explicit approval.
What if my QR code expires before I scan it?+
QR codes expire after 5 minutes. Click 'Try Again' to generate a fresh QR code.
