What Is an XRPL Address?
An XRPL address (also called an r-address) is a unique identifier for an account on the XRP Ledger. It starts with the letter 'r' followed by 25–34 alphanumeric characters.
Example: `rfxLuTgqD9fZkL4iQtLF1kZ7q2wjs7mNFD`
Every XRPL account has exactly one address. Your address is derived from your public key.
What Is a Destination Tag?
The XRP Ledger allows one address to receive payments from many different senders by using destination tags. A destination tag is a 32-bit number (0 to 4,294,967,294) included with a payment.
XamanProtocol uses a single platform address (`rfxLuTgqD9fZkL4iQtLF1kZ7q2wjs7mNFD`) for all deposits. Each user is assigned a unique destination tag so their deposits can be attributed correctly.
Reading Your Deposit Address
On the XamanProtocol Deposit page, you will see:
- Deposit Address: The platform's shared XRPL address
- Destination Tag: Your unique numeric tag (e.g., 1234567890)
Both must be included when sending XRP. If your sending wallet does not support destination tags, you cannot use standard XRP deposits — use the Xaman staking flow instead.
Address Safety Tips
- Always copy-paste addresses — never type them manually
- Double-check the first and last few characters after pasting
- XRPL addresses are case-sensitive
- An incorrect character results in a failed or permanently lost transaction
