How Rewards Are Calculated
Your rewards are based on:
- Principal: The amount you staked
- APY: The annual percentage yield of your chosen pool
- Duration: How long your stake has been active
Formula: `Reward = Principal × (APY ÷ 100) × (Days Active ÷ 365)`
Example: 500 XRP staked at 10% APY for 30 days:
`Reward = 500 × 0.10 × (30/365) = 4.11 XRP`
When Rewards Are Credited
Rewards accrue daily and are added to your staking position's accrued balance. They are credited to your main account balance when you:
- Claim a matured locked position
- Unstake from a flexible position
You can view accrued (not yet claimed) rewards in the stake details panel.
Tracking Your Earnings
The Staking page shows:
- Accrued Rewards for each active position
- Total Earnings across all your positions
- Projected Earnings at maturity
- ROI (Return on Investment) percentage
Your portfolio card on the main dashboard also reflects the total current value of all staking positions.
