Prerequisites
Before you can stake, you need:
- A funded XamanProtocol account (Active deposit balance)
- Sufficient balance to meet the pool minimum
- Optionally, a connected Xaman wallet for XRP staking via the Xaman flow
Step 1 — Choose a Pool
Navigate to Dashboard → Staking. You will see available pools with their APY, lock period, and minimum stake amount. Choose the pool that matches your goals:
- Flexible — No lock, lower APY, withdraw anytime
- 7-Day Locked — 7-day lock, moderate APY
- 30-Day Locked — 30-day lock, higher APY
- 90-Day Locked — 90-day lock, highest APY
Step 2 — Open the Stake
Click Stake on your chosen pool. Enter the amount you wish to stake. Review the projected earnings and maturity value shown. Click Confirm. Your staking position is created immediately.
Step 3 — Monitor Your Position
Your active positions appear in the My Stakes section on the Staking page. For each position you can see:
- Amount staked
- Pool type and APY
- Start date
- Maturity date (for locked pools)
- Estimated total earnings at maturity
Step 4 — At Maturity or When Unstaking
Flexible pools: You can unstake at any time. The principal and any accrued rewards are returned to your account balance.
Locked pools: At the maturity date, your position automatically becomes claimable. Navigate to Staking, find your matured position, and click Claim. Principal and rewards are returned to your balance.
Staking via Xaman Wallet
If you hold XRP in your Xaman wallet, you can stake directly without first depositing to XamanProtocol:
- On the Staking page, click the Xaman button.
- Scan the QR code with your Xaman app to connect.
- Select a pool and enter your stake amount.
- Sign the payment transaction in Xaman — this sends your XRP to XamanProtocol and creates a staking record simultaneously.
See the Staking from Xaman Wallet article for full details.
