Portfolio Overview

How your XamanProtocol portfolio is calculated, what it includes, and how to interpret the numbers.

What Your Portfolio Shows

Your portfolio value is the total USD value of all assets held in your XamanProtocol account:

  • Available balance (XRP, XLM, other assets)
  • Value locked in active staking positions (including accrued rewards)
  • Any other platform holdings

The portfolio value updates in real time as market prices change.

How USD Value Is Calculated

USD values are calculated by multiplying your asset quantities by their current market prices:

`Portfolio Value = (XRP balance × XRP price) + (XLM balance × XLM price) + ...`

Prices are sourced from major market data providers and updated frequently.

Large Number Display

For accounts with large portfolio values, XamanProtocol uses compact notation:

  • Values ≥ $1,000,000 are displayed as `$X.XXM` (millions)
  • Values ≥ $1,000,000,000 are displayed as `$X.XXB` (billions)

For example, $1,234,567 is displayed as $1.23M.

Portfolio vs Available Balance

  • Portfolio Value: Total value of everything in your account
  • Available Balance: Funds not locked in staking, available for withdrawal

Funds locked in a staking position are part of your portfolio value but are NOT available for withdrawal until the lock expires.
